What Are the 75 Medium Challenge Rules?

The 75 Medium Challenge is a relaxed version of Andy Frisella’s 75 Hard Challenge.

Successfully completing the 75 Medium Challenge will help you forge better nutrition, exercise, and wellness habits.

Like the 75 Hard, this challenge involves completing a set of 6 daily activities for 75 days straight — no interruptions. If you fail to complete one of the rules, you must restart the challenge from day 1.

But unlike the 75 Hard version, the rules for the 75 Medium Challenge are more flexible and tend to differ slightly from person to person.

For example, you can pick a less rigid diet you only follow 90% of the time, and you only have to do one 45-minute exercise per day instead of two (one of which must take place outside, according to the 75 Hard rules).

Six common daily 75 Medium Challenge rules are:

  1. Pick a diet and stick to it 90% of the time
  2. Complete one 45-minute workout
  3. Drink half your body weight (in pounds) in ounces of water daily
  4. Avoid drinking alcohol
  5. Read 5 pages of a book
  6. Take photos to track your progress
